Decommissioning a Sensorbee Modbus Unit
Knowing how to remove a unit from service is just as important as knowing how to install one — particularly when a unit is being relocated, returned for service, or decommissioned for end of life.
The procedure to disable a Modbus unit is the reverse of installation. Power-down, disconnect, then physically uninstall.

For units being returned to Sensorbee: units containing gas modules must be powered down correctly and clearly marked as faulty before shipping. Do not include damaged or leaking gas modules without flagging them.
For installation in reverse, see the installation steps in the quick-start deployment.
For end-of-life disposal, see Disposal Instructions.
