Check Before Deployment
Before installing the unit at its final location, test it in a controlled environment. Much easier to fault-find on a bench than on a mast five metres up.
1. Confirm sensor readings
Log into Sensorbee Cloud (or your own LwM2M server, if self-hosted) and confirm that all sensors are reporting values. The factory-default reporting interval is 5 minutes — allow at least one full cycle before judging.
2. Power off and move to site
Once the values look sensible, power the unit down:
- ·Disconnect the power cable.
- ·The status LED goes solid red for about 10 seconds, then off — the unit is now powered down.
- ·If the LED blinks red six times instead, an error occurred during shutdown and the unit will reboot.
The Air Lite can only be powered off by disconnecting power — there is no power button. This is true regardless of incoming power level.
The unit will power on again the moment the power cable is reconnected and incoming power is adequate. For a solar-powered unit this means the panel needs enough direct sunlight; an external power supply is always fine.
Bench testing indoors: use an external power supply, not the solar panel. Indoor lighting won't sustain the unit long enough to validate anything.
Once off, move the unit to its deployment site and follow Deployment.
