Safety Instructions
The following safety instructions apply to both the Air Pro 2 and the Air Lite. Read and observe them before installing or operating a unit.
For regulatory compliance (CE, MCERTS, WEEE), see Safety and Compliance Information.
General precautions
- ·Do not subject the unit or its sensing probes to unnecessary mechanical stress.
- ·The electronics are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use appropriate ESD-handling measures when touching exposed electronics (e.g. a grounded wrist strap when handling the SIM or PCB).
- ·Handle sensing probes with the care described in their individual user manuals.
- ·Installation, including connection to power, maintenance, and commissioning, must be performed by qualified personnel.
- ·Use the unit only as intended and observe all safety instructions.
- ·Do not use the unit in an explosive environment or to measure aggressive gases.
- ·Do not use the unit in critical or safety-stop applications. The sensors are not designed for time-sensitive readings, and a failure could cause harm.
Intended use
The unit must only be used as described in this manual and within the limits set out in the datasheet. Outside those bounds, accuracy isn't guaranteed and failure modes haven't been characterised. Sensorbee cannot be held responsible for damage caused by incorrect handling, installation, or maintenance.
Do not modify the unit with tools other than those listed for the relevant procedure in this manual.
Mount, start-up, and operation
- ·Mounting, start-up, operation, and maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel who have read and understood this manual.
- ·Check all wiring and connections thoroughly before powering up.
- ·Do not install or commission a unit that may be faulty. Mark suspected-faulty units clearly so they aren't accidentally put into service.
- ·A faulty unit must only be investigated and repaired (where possible) by qualified, trained, and authorised personnel.
Environmental disposal
When disposing of the unit, separate components according to local recycling regulations. Electronics must go to a compliant e-waste channel. See Disposal Instructions for Sensorbee's WEEE-compliant disposal pathway.
