This page covers the safety precautions that must be observed when installing and operating a Sensorbee Air unit, and the regulatory framework it's sold under.
General safety precautions
- ·Do not expose the unit to temperatures outside the operating range given in the datasheet.
- ·Do not open, disassemble, or modify the unit. Doing so voids the warranty and may cause damage.
- ·Use only the power adapter supplied by Sensorbee.
- ·Mount the unit securely in accordance with the installation guide.
Regulatory compliance
CE Mark
The Sensorbee Air Pro 2 Cellular carries the CE Mark, confirming that it conforms to the relevant European health, safety, and environmental protection standards. By affixing the CE Mark, Sensorbee declares that the device meets the mandatory requirements of all applicable European Directives and Regulations.
To preserve the CE certification in service, the general safety precautions above must be observed.
MCERTS and other standards
The Sensorbee Air Pro 2 is MCERTS-certified for indicative ambient particulate monitoring and is used in BS 5228 and BS 7385 compliance programmes. WEEE — end-of-life disposal
The Sensorbee Air Pro 2 Cellular is Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) within the scope of the EU WEEE Directive. At the end of its service life, the unit must be disposed of through a compliant WEEE channel, not as general waste.
