This week our Embedded Software Engineering Manager, Oscar Sjöberg, returned to Linköping University to speak with students in the Chemical Sensor Systems course led by Professor Jens Eriksson.
Oscar's talk — "Sensors in the Wild" — focused on what really happens when a chemical sensor leaves the lab: outdoor deployments, humidity, drift, calibration intervals, power budgets, and the engineering decisions behind delivering trustworthy air quality data for cities, construction sites, and industrial facilities across Europe.
A huge thank you to Professor Eriksson and the students for the warm welcome, the sharp questions, and the genuine curiosity throughout the session. Connecting students with the real-world challenges of environmental monitoring is exactly the kind of collaboration Sensorbee values most.
