Sensorbee Ecosystem
The Sensorbee ecosystem covers two product families, each targeted at a different monitoring context. This page explains what each product is for so you can pick the right starting point in the documentation.
Air Lite and Air Pro 2 — cellular outdoor monitoring
The Air Lite and Air Pro 2 are outdoor monitoring stations designed for mobile and fixed deployments where cellular connectivity is the practical choice — environmental consultancy projects, construction sites, and ambient air quality networks.
Both units report to the Sensorbee Cloud over LTE-M or NB-IoT, so no on-site IT or Wi-Fi is required.
- ·Air Lite — compact unit with a fixed, pre-fitted sensor configuration (particulates, temperature, humidity, ambient noise). Best for straightforward dust and noise monitoring on construction sites.
- ·Air Pro 2 — modular unit that accepts additional gas, weather, and vibration sensors. Best for projects that need multi-parameter monitoring or field-upgradeable deployments.
See Air Lite vs Air Pro 2 for a full feature comparison.
Modbus Lite — industrial and smart-city
The Sensorbee Modbus Lite is for integrations where the sensor reports over RS-485 Modbus RTU into an existing SCADA, BMS, or smart-city controller — not to the Sensorbee Cloud.
Use this product when the host system is already in place and you need a direct industrial-protocol sensor rather than a cloud-connected one.
