For monitoring stations with expanded sensor configurations — multiple gas modules, vibration sensors, sound level meters, and weather instruments — the 14W solar panel may not provide sufficient energy during short winter days or at high latitudes. The Sensorbee 30W Solar Panel (SB6104) delivers more than double the power output, ensuring reliable autonomous operation even with power-intensive multi-sensor deployments. The 5-metre cable provides greater flexibility in panel placement, allowing the solar panel to be positioned for optimal sun exposure independently of the monitoring station location.
The 30W solar panel converts sunlight into electrical energy to charge the connected Sensorbee monitoring station. The higher power output compared to the 14W panel (SB6103) means faster battery charging and greater energy reserves for overnight operation and periods of reduced sunlight.
The 5m cable with M8F-4 connector provides a weatherproof, tool-free connection to the Air Pro 2 base station. The longer cable length allows the panel to be mounted on a separate pole or structure where sun exposure is optimal, even if the monitoring station itself is in partial shade.
The 30W solar panel is designed for the Sensorbee Pro series monitoring platforms:
Mount the solar panel with an unobstructed view of the sky, oriented toward the equator. The adjustable mounting bracket allows angle optimisation for the deployment latitude. The included steel hose clamps secure the panel to standard monitoring poles. Connect the M8F-4 cable to the base station or external battery pack power input — the system begins charging immediately.
